Maps are being printed on Tuesday 18th Apr. Please complete the participation survey by 0900 on the 18th to take part.

Early signs are good with 33 people signed up by 10th April.

Although this is an unashamedly technical training session, less experienced and younger members are encouraged to give it a go because we have lots of coaches and experienced members to help you. The short course is all confined in a small area bounded by out-of-bounds roads which makes it impossible to get permanently lost.

Follow the signs for Conicavel from the A96. At the Whitemire Crossroads (the second one you come to), turn left and park near the buildings at the end of the road.

Note that there are no toilets.
Safety - Logiebuchany is used as a recycling centre by Moray Estates so do not go near any of the rubbish.
If you're a club coach and can make yourself available before or after your run to help those needing help reading contours, please indicate this on the survey which is linked at the end of the course info section. Thanks to those of you who have already done that.

Courses available:

Long - 3.2 Km

Short - 1.6 Km

Both courses are technically tricky (TD5) and are printed on the same map (the short course is a cut-short of the long).

The map is printed at 1:5000 (large scale to give a clear uncluttered map to help those unsure of reading the contours and for everyone else more of a forest sprint feel to the course)

It is an ideal opportunity to learn to read contours, as there are land features and virtually nothing else within this open beech forest.
